What are “fixed” and “sliding” points, and why do I need both?

Fixed points support the weight of the panel, while sliding points allow for thermal expansion and contraction while resisting wind loads. Both are required to ensure the façade can move naturally and avoid bulging, buckling, or other long-term defects.
