RCM Y-Wall – Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) Summary

• Product: Non-asbestos calcium silicate fibre cement board (Y-Wall).

• Validity: Dec 22, 2022 – Dec 21, 2027 (Certificate EPD-BC-2022-301).

• Applications: Fire-rated sheathing, ceilings, partitions, OEM uses, high-rise (>18m), offsite construction.

• Key Performance: Mechanical Resistance Class 3, Fire Class A1, water permeability pass, durability pass for warm water, soak/dry, freeze-thaw, heat/rain.

• Specifications: Thickness 6–15mm, ≤0.30 W/mK thermal conductivity, ≤1.20 g/cm³ density; composition – Portland cement 35%, lime 20%, quartz 35%, cellulose 9%, mica 1%.

• Manufacture: Autoclaved composite process under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001; uses recycled water and reuses sanding waste.

• Environmental Data: Cradle-to-gate LCA; carbon footprint = 859 kg CO₂ per m³ of product.

• End of Life: Not designed for reuse/recycling; disposal as non-hazardous solid waste.
