Does the insulation I use have an effect on which renders I can use?

Vapour permeable insulation such as mineral wool requires the render also to be vapour permeable – this is usually a silicone or mineral render. EPS can accommodate most render types as they are classed as “closed cell” with little or no vapour permeability properties.
