How do I create a curve when using an EWI system?

Curved surfaces can be achieved with both EPS and mineral wool EWI systems. For EPS systems, the insulation boards can be adhesively fixed and then rasped to the required curve before being mechanically fixed and base coated. For mineral wool systems, specialist lamella boards must be used, with the fibres orientated perpendicular to the substrate, allowing the surface to be shaped. Standard mineral wool boards cannot be rasped to form curves.
