• Product type: Non-asbestos calcium silicate fibre cement board for walls, partitions, ceilings, and flooring.

• Safety in normal state: Non-toxic, non-combustible (Grade A), safe to handle when intact.

• Dust hazard: Cutting, drilling, sanding, or grinding produces respirable dust that can irritate skin, eyes, and lungs.

• Work precautions:

  • Use well-ventilated areas or dust extraction.

  • Apply dust suppression (wet cutting where possible).

  • Wear eye protection, gloves, long sleeves, and an approved particulate dust mask.

• Storage: Store flat, dry, covered, and off the ground to avoid moisture absorption.

• Handling: Carry vertically by two people; avoid dropping or tossing boards.

• Cleaning: Wet sweep or vacuum—avoid dry sweeping.

• Disposal: Follow local authority regulations for waste management.
